The Greek tragedy continues.
I understand that Greece is a laid back, tax-disliking country; I understand that its docile population have gorged themselves at the poisoned Brussels trough, filled by the tax payers of the better off northern EU states; I understand that the European Union is basically a carbon copy of the now deceased Soviet Union, and that the EU believes that the state is all and all available money belongs to that state.
I also understand that for the European Union beast to grow it will require more money; that it believes that those people in Greece who are not too keen to pour their money into the Brussels whores’ pockets must be forced to do so.
I know that having brought the European economy to its knees by systematically draining its population of its hard-worked-for wealth, the Brussels mafia with its statist politburo mentality is now seeking out those areas it has missed in order to mop up what’s left.
I also understand that the general desire of the European Union mafia is that the “downtrodden” of Europe will rise up against the demonized bankers and turn on those free spirits who have better plans for their own money; the Brussels whores hope to extract yet more funds for their immoral cesspit by imposing austerity on the European people – a populism they would approve of, I suspect.
I also realize that here, in the United Kingdom, there is a large section of society – socialists – who are wholly in favour of this EU social model - but how far does this section of society believe that the EU corporate state should go in enforcing their favoured model?
I really can not understand how those supposed great defenders of “human rights” – the socialist left – can stand by and not raise a word in anger at what is going on in Greece.
The Slog has highlighted the fact that the Greek police have started to dig their heels in, and are no longer prepared to beat their wives and children over the head in defiance of despotic edicts from Brussels:
Far Right leader of the Greek Party LAOS, said in the last hour that he will not support the newly added EU austerity being demanded by Berlin. Withdrawing his signature from yesterday’s Venizelos Agreement, he confirmed that he “will not approve any new debt deal”. The German demands led by Bundesrepublik Finance Minister seem also to have triggered a letter from the Greek police force to leading Troika and EU figures, excerpts from which are as follows:
“….Since you are continuing this destructive policy, we warn you that you cannot make us fight against our brothers. We refuse to stand against our parents, our brothers, our children or any citizen who protests and demands a change of policy….We warn you that as legal representatives of Greek policemen, we will issue arrest warrants for a series of legal violations … such as blackmail, covertly abolishing or eroding democracy and national sovereignty…..”
Ideal conditions for outside “help” I would venture:

Britain’s dumbed down and brainwashed lefties, so in thrall to the European dream, full of their own piss and importance when prattling on about “democracy” in North Africa, can not see the atrocities on their own doorstep.
